My Dr. appt went good. She found the baby's heartbeat right away, which made me feel better. Of course, I started crying, it was just so nice to hear that little heartbeat. She asked if I was ok & I told her about the accident. She had NO idea! She was so mad that they didn't have me come in the day it happened to be checked out then. I told her I was worried that I hadn't felt the baby move as much that day. She said if anything were to go wrong with the baby, she would feel comfortable delivering it! Yikes, it's only 2 lbs. right now! That would be scary. She sent me to the hospital to get a Non-stress test done. She wanted to monitor the baby's heartbeat for an extended amount of time, instead of just hearing it. So, I laid there for an hour listening to the baby's heartbeat. Yes, I was praying the whole time I was there. They said everything looked good & sent me home. No ultrasound. Oh well. I was so happy to hear everything was ok with the baby. I love modern medicine! What a relief to know everything's alright. Lately, the baby's been moving a lot! I felt a foot or something in my side last night. It's just so weird & exciting at the same time.
I think Craig is pregnant...... He's gained about 10 lbs, is always hungry & seems a little irritable lately. Has anyone else had this happen? It is so weird! He gets a little angry at me when I mention that we have the same 'symptoms', especially when he tries on a pair of pants & they're hard to button. I say "hmmm....I have that same problem." I think it's funny, he doesn't.

99 days left!
I just got on my blog & saw my baby ticker. I have less than 100 days left until this baby is here! I can' t believe it! Wow! Considering my others were 2-3 weeks early, I don't even have that much left, but it was weird to see less than 100 on there! I am so excited!
I was heading to my Dr. appt yesterday when a lady from our ward did a U-Turn right in front of me & we crashed! I laid on my horn & slammed on my brakes, so we were both going pretty slow. I think everything is fine. Yesterday I wasn't feeling the baby move much, so I was getting worried, but I've felt more today. I rescheduled my appt for today at 2pm, so we'll see what she says. I'm kinda hoping she sends me for an ultrasound to check things out just to make sure everything's ok. We'll see. I'll definately keep you updated.
I know the lady was so embarrassed. I felt so bad for her! I kinda wish it was a stranger instead. Our van is driveable, but messed up.
Good thing we have 3 cars! I hate being 'homebound'!

Remodeling
I thought I'd post some pics of our remodeling. Some of you have been asking to see what we've been so busy with.
This is our room. Yes, the headboard is really almost 7 feet tall! It's huge! Craig's a little embarrassed about how big it is. We ordered it from a catalog at the furniture store & had no idea it was that big! We're in the process of picking out new bedding & curtains. Do you know how hard it is to find Cal. King bedding that isn't $400? Crazy! We did find a good online store, now we just need to pick a color scheme. We also need to decorate. Remember, we've never had a room that was done before! No, my room is NOT usually this clean. That's why I took a picture. LOL
This is our new closet system that we ordered online.
We wanted something wood, not metal. We absolutely love it!
This is Emily's room. Like I NEEDED to tell you that.
There's still some decorating to do in here too.
I have a lot more things to hang up on the walls.
This is her closet.
We still have some trim pieces to put up in the corners of her room & the closet doors to hang. We can't finish the far wall until the window is replaced. That's the front of the house where we will build a roof this spring over the porch that we did last summer. Her window hangs too low for the roof, so we ordered a new window. The window came last week, BROKEN. So, maybe next week it will be here in one piece. Then we can finish her room. If it's not one thing, it's another.
The boys room is blue. I didn't want to clean it, so no pics yet. We had the bunk beds & another bed in here & there just wasn't enough room. So, we decided to get a trundle to go under the bunk beds. We can't find a trundle that fits yet, so for now Adam is pushing his mattress under the bed everyday-well, almost everyday.
I need to find a toy organizing system that will work with their room. Any ideas? I was thinking of a book shelf type unit with bins, but I need bins with lids, nothing open. We also need to hang their closet doors too.

It feels SO good to have all of that done. I really feel like I need to get organized now. Especially before the baby comes. A little at a time. That's what I keep saying. I can't have it all done at once. Right?
Baseball season.....again!
Well, this year the boys weren't too excited to play ball. Not sure why. We also missed the sign up date. So, Craig & I decided NOT to sign them up & skip it this year. Well, a few weeks ago, we got a phone call & it was the league manager. He said they were really short on players & would waive the late fee if we signed the boys up. So, Craig gets off the phone & says 'They're all signed up!" I was like, ummmm...... WE decided NOT to sign them up! He went on to say how they needed the players, took the late fee off, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. LOL I wasn't too happy. Then he tells me that he's also coaching Matt's team! I wasn't happy AT ALL now! He really doesn't have time for this. UGH! Then he tells me they are on 3 different teams! Now I was ticked! Men.
Anyway, it all worked out (just like everything always does) Adam & Eric were able to play on the same team & grandma & grandpa offered to help transport to & from games & practices. Their coach also offiered rides for them too. I got the game schedule yesterday & started filling out our calendar. Adam & Eric play Mon, Wed, Fri. & Matt plays on Tues & Thurs. ! Yikes! Some weeks we have 5 games to go to. So, Adam & Eric had their first game yesterday. Matt & Craig had practice. The coach took the boys to the game, I was supposed to pick them up. I sat in the car in our driveway, ready to go to the game & it was pouring! I sat their for 5 or 10 minutes wondering what to do. If I went & they called the game off, the coach would bring them home & I would be on my way there & miss them. (It was an away game.) So, I came inside. Craig & Matt came home soon after, because of the rain too. The rain died down, so we decided to head to the game together.
I was surprised they played in the rain. I am a whimp. I don't like getting wet unless I'm in the shower or swimming (where you're supposed to get wet). Anyway, the boys did pretty good. Eric scored 2 runs. Adam played 1st base & did really well. A BIG thank you to grandma who took Emily to her house to play. She would have been miserable at the game. She called grandma before the game & said '"Can you come get me? It's probably gonna rain at the game." I thought it was cute. What 3 year old really says 'probably' & knows when to use it? Cutie! We picked her up at grandmas after the game & the boys & I waited in the car. Craig carried her to the car & as they were walking to the car Adam said 'she's a pretty cute little sister'. I thought it was sweet! I really DO have great kids.
Now, I can definately say, I really don't like baseball season, but I'll put up with it for the boys. Just this year. LOL
AND IT JUST STARTED!

Official.......
It's official.....Craig was set apart on Sunday as the 1st counselor in our Bishopric. Some of you have been waiting for weeks to hear what his new calling is (It was like a tease to tell us that he would be called & have to wait a month to actually have it done.) So, it's finally done. The Stake Presidency was out of town all month, so it was a little delayed. Craig was a little nervous about being sustained. For some reason he wondered if people would sustain him or not. I don't know why he worried. I know he'll do a great job! He's gotten quite a few comments about how happy people are that he was called & how he'll be great in the Bishopric. I agree. He's such a great Father & Priesthood holder. I am so lucky to have him. I look forward to seeing how this helps our family grow & I hope I can handle everything that the future holds. I guess that's why there are grandparents that live close by, right? Hint, hint......
We received a letter in the mail today that made Craig & I feel really good. It was from a member who has been excommunicated & has been coming back to church for a few months now & was there on Sunday (some of you may know her.) She says in her letter that she was happy to see Craig put in the Bishopric & she's been watching our little family at church & knew Craig would be put in the Bishopric. She said our children are so well behaved (she doesn't see me silently squeezing their knee when they misbehave. LOL) She also said how impressed she was with Adam as he passed the sacrament & how much that says about us as parents. She said how great a job Craig would do & what a wonderful family we have. It was so nice to hear that someone thinks we're good parents. No matter what our kids say.LOL It's just not everyday that someone tells you that. It was such a nice letter. I really need to get to know her better. She lives about a mile from us. Even more reason to friendship her.
Anyway, enough of my blabbing. We're excited for the new chapter this opens up in our life & the chance for opportunity & growth. I hope we can live up to the expectations that come along with it too. Wish us luck, say your prayers, cross your fingers, whatever you do....we'll need it! LOL

Busy Life
Ok, I'm finally updating after a few people told me that I have been a slacker at blogging. This is for you guys...
I know everyone is busy, but we have been so unbelievably busy I don't really even know where to start. Ok, here goes....
First, we had our bedrooms all torn apart so we could have closets built in every room, the drywall texture & ceilings fixed & new flooring put in. Well, the closets are done, drywall done & ceilings fixed. So, while the 2 rooms were being worked on, everything from those rooms was shoved into the other rooms. What a mess!
I have felt so unorganized for 3 weeks now! I'm already having a hard time finding something to wear (something that fits), let alone actually FIND where it is! For a few days our jacuzzi tub was FULL of clothes from our closet that wouldn't fit hanging up anywhere else. I went to take the clothes out & accidentally turned the water on!! Yes, now we had a tub full of soaking wet clothes. Joy. Now I had to find a place to hang everything to dry....
Finally, Emily's room is pretty much done. We have to replace one of the windows in there so we can put our front porch roof on this spring, so we can't totally finish her room until that is done. Hopefully that will be done this week. Her room is a soft pink on top with white bead board on the bottom half with chair rail . It's so pretty. I love it. It seems so soothing. She loves it too, which is what matters.
The boys' room is a denim blue color. I told them they could choose the paint color. They kept choosing colors like orange, black, red. Finally I gave them a choice between 3 colors & they all decided on the blue. It looks great. They are really happy with it too. It feels good to have rooms that are finished with baseboard up & every piece of trim painted!! Both of their closets are done too with closet rods. Now, I need to go through their clothes & start giving some away! They have way to many clothes!
Our room has never been painted. It's like the last room in the house to be done. We've had the paint for 4 years! It is a taupe color. We had carpet in there, but Craig & I decided to do hardwood instead. So, that became our weekend project last weekend along with our closet system. We love it. Our new bed & mattress was delivered yesterday, so we got to sleep on it for the first time last night. Our headboard is HUGE!! Craig & his brother, Chad, stood it up & it's taller than Craig is. It's at least 6 1/2' tall. Craig says he's embarrassed at how big it it. I love it! Today we are finishing baseboard in our room(that is where Craig is, picking that up) While I paint the baseboard, Craig is finishing the closet system. I'm excited that things are finally getting done. This morning I spent 3 hrs just cleaning downstairs. I feel like all of our energy has been going to the upstairs that our downstairs has been lacking ANY attention. I have been like drill sargeant mom lately! I think the kids are sick of me.
This last week was also spring break. I painted trim a lot & cleaned upstairs sorting stuff, but I wasn't going to do that all week with the kiddos home from school. The last few days have been so nice out!!! We've been to the park (the boys had baseball practice too), we washed the car, played in the yard & just had fun. Now, I feel like It's back to work time.
I'll post pictures of our rooms later.

Ultrasound
Well, today was the big day! There is definately a baby in there.......Everything looked good & measured right. Baby is 11oz, so why have I gained 10 lbs? Hmmmm.........interesting. LOL Anyway, the Technician couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl. She tried many times & I even asked her to try again a few times. I think she was getting annoyed with me. Oops! I couldn't see any boy parts down there though. The Tech wouldn't confirm one way or another if she couldn't tell us with a 70% accuracy. So, we still think it's a girl. We got some cute pictures though. One is of the bottoms of 'her' feet the others are profile pictures. The baby was very active too. The Tech had to keep moving the wand to keep up with 'her'.
Don't you love how I keep using 'her'?
I heard there is a place nearby who does ultrasounds for fun. As soon as I'm done on here, I'm calling them! I have to find out!
