Tea Party
The other night we had a tea party (ok, it was hot apple cider). The boys and Emily got everything ready and put a blanket on the family room floor. We cut up banana bread, had craisins, mini marshmallows & chocolate covered raisins. We threw together anything 'little' that we could find in the house basically. I wasn't sure the boys would want to do it, so, originally I just asked Emily, and then the boys started claiming which color of cup they would have. It was great. They all had a great time. They took turns pouring the 'tea'. It was priceless. Here are some pics.

Hill Cumorah Pageant
Our family went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant last week. The hill is about 3 minutes from our house. If you haven't had a chance to see it, you need to. I love the part when Christ comes down from heaven and he asks to have the little children come to Him. The part when he hugs the children makes me cry every time I see it. I think that is how it will be when we see Him again. I can just imagine it! I love it. Craig played the part of Christ when he was 18. He was in pageant for 10 years. What a great experience! You should come stay with us & see the show! We had fun last year when my sister, Amy, and her family and my parents came for pageant. Here are some pics of our night. It was starting to get dark out, so I couldn't get very many pics. Adam was off with friends and Emily wouldn't get close to those strange people in strange clothes. So, we only got Eric & Matt in the pictures.

Happy Birthday Craig!
Saturday was Craig's 36th birthday! He wanted a German Chocolate Cake, so I made one from scratch, even the frosting! I was pretty proud of myself. His parents came over for dinner along with Beth, Brian (her boyfriend and his kids), Chris & Chad. We grilled steak and had corn on the cob, red smashed potatoes and fruit salad. It was so yummy & a lot of fun. Afterwards, everyone played croquet in our back yard. I had to post a picture of the cake. Everyone said it was awesome! The others are of him opening presents. You need to understand, we just came in from a day at the pool, hence the swimsuits (especially Craigs hawaiian one-LOL).

One Less Tooth
Matthew pulled out his first tooth today. It's been loose for a while and bugging him. So, he asked for some dental floss and we tied it around his tooth. I was filming him trying to pull it out and he walked over to me and I yanked it out while still filming. His scream was so hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing. I can't get the video on here, but here are the pics of him before and after. He is such a trooper!

Anyone want S'more?
Beth (Craig's sister) came to visit from St. George,Utah with her boyfriend, Brian and his 3 boys. They came to our house for dinner along with Craig's parents and rode the 4 wheeler around the trails. Then we had a bon fire and made s'mores. It was a ton of fun! Now we are all showered (we smelled smoky) and ready for bed. I'll post pics when I get them from Beth (my camera battery was charging-darn). I love being outdoors with family, nothing more peaceful. Unless you have boys playing with burning sticks and one boy touches another boy on the arm with a bright red stick and he gets a big blister from it. Not that that has happened before. So peaceful.........Really, nobody got hurt this time and it was very nice & relaxing. Good memories.

Cub Scout Camp
Well, today I went to Cub Scout camp with Eric at the Canandaigua Academy. We had a great time and it wasn't too hot either. We went on a scavenger hunt for Bugs and then listened to a Biologist share some of his favorite Amphibians and reptiles with us. Here are a few pics of the animals he showed us:

Red Flame salamander

Afterwards they went swimming to cool off. Here are some pics of them swimming.

What a fun day! I'll only be there for a few hours tomorrow. But I'll try to take some good pics and add them to this.
Baseball Champs
Both Adam & Eric's baseball teams won the league Championships this year. We are so proud of them and their hard work. They both had wonderful coaches that taught them a lot this year too. Good Job, boys! I finally got the pictures of their teams to download!!

I love to see the Temple
While In Utah we drove by the SLC Temple. We stopped to take a few pics. Emily loves the song 'I love to see the Temple'. So, I thought it would be good for her to see the SLC temple. She was singing the song when we saw it from far away too. It was a gorgeous day. I love how the sky & clouds look. What could be better than being with my little girl at Temple square? What a sweetie!

Utah 2008
Emily & I went to Utah & Idaho in May to see family. It was great to see her play with her cousins. Last year she was still pretty little and didn't really "play" with them. I hope we can do that more often. Check out some pics from our trip.
